EVENTS HARPIST: Biography (Performance) & Venues

Hannah has played for literally hundreds of weddings and events across Scotland, and at many of the most prestigious venues in the country. Her first engagement on moving to Scotland was playing for the opening (by the then Prince Charles) of the Glasshouse at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. She is a regular at Prestonfield House, has played at Edinburgh Castle on numerous occasions, and has performed at Holyrood Palace, on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, and at castles and stately homes and up and down the land. She has played for opening VIP nights at the Edinburgh international film festival, and has also twice been part of the line-up by Sky Arts at the Edinburgh International TV Festival.

Hannah studied the harp at the junior department of the Royal College of Music in London, and with Charlotte Seale at the junior department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. At both colleges she was a Junior Exhibitioner (on full music scholarship). Hannah also holds a first class degree in Politics from Durham University. Scroll down for venues.
